Position title: Finance and Administration Intern

Reports to: Finance and Administration Manager

Location: Yaoundé, Cameroon

Position Summary

The Finance and Administration Intern will provide essential support to our staff in Yaoundé, working closely with the Finance and Administration Manager. This role will involve assisting with various financial and administrative tasks, contributing to the efficient and effective operation of Yaoundé office.




Key Responsibilities

Expense Tracking: Monitor and record all field expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Invoice Processing: Review and process invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate recordkeeping.

Office Management: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Yaoundé office, including filing, photocopying, and general administrative tasks.
Support the coordination of procurement of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with procurement procedures.
Data Entry: Input data into various databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Logistics: Assist with logistical arrangements for Yaoundé activities, including transportation, accommodation, and equipment.
Support other duties as assigned by the supervisor.




Requirements and skills

A degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong interest in conservation and sustainable development.
