MISSION
The Head of Structured Finance participates in the development of structured finance operations, by offering the bank’s client portfolios financing solutions (related to commodities, export, infrastructure, energy, LBOs or securitization), while assessing the risk represented by each project.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

The main activities of the Head of Structured Finance are:

Origination and Structuring

• Identify and exploit business opportunities on intervention portfolios
• Seeking synergies within the Societe Generale Group
• Control financial modeling and profitability calculations
• Write and participate in the presentation of offers

Execution / Distribution

• Negotiate legal documentation with the borrower in liaison with the lawyers
• Conduct discussions and negotiations to define the structure and carry out the necessary research to control all constraints and risks related to the chosen structure
• Propose syndication strategies and participate in their implementation

Transaction tracking

• Ensure the proper follow-up of operations through the exhaustive transmission to the Back Office of the subsidiary concerned and to the Middle Office of the Structured Finance Hub, of the information necessary for the management of files
• Intervene on existing operations and participate if necessary in the exit of old operations by proposing adapted solutions
• Ensure compliance with current procedures

PROFILE

• Minimum BAC+5 in Finance, Management, Corporate Finance – Structured Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financing and investment activities and/or in client management of a portfolio of Large Companies or in the field of large investment projects
• Be bilingual: French and English.
