On behalf of our client, a growing leader in the logistics sector specializing in fleet scans and control, we are
seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to oversee and strengthen the company’s reporting
function.
This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with
regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvements in reporting processes. The successful
candidate will also lead and mentor a team of four finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability,
collaboration, and high performance within the finance department.

Job Purpose
Job Purpose • Accurate Financial Reporting: The Financial Reporting Manager will ensure
the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with
applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for maintaining compliance with
financial regulations and internal policies, ensuring that all financial reporting
adheres to legal requirements.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: The role involves analyzing financial data,
interpreting results, and providing insights to support decision-making
processes.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: The Financial Reporting Manager will
collaborate with various departments, including finance, operations, and
external auditors, government agencies, and custom authorities to facilitate
effective communication and reporting.
• Continuous Improvement: The manager will identify opportunities for
process improvements in financial reporting and implement best practices to
enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Support to CFO: Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Reporting
Manager will provide necessary information and analysis to support strategic
financial planning and reporting initiatives.
Key tasks and accountabilities
Key tasks • Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly,
and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting
standards (eg, SYSCOHADA, IFRS)
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and
internal policies by staying updated on relevant laws and guidelines.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas
for improvement, providing insights to the CFO and other stakeholders.
• Collaboration with Auditors: Liaise with external auditors during the audit
process, providing necessary documentation and addressing any inquiries.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in
financial reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Internal Control Over Financial reporting: Ensure compliance with internal
controls covering financial reporting including but not limited to transaction
accounting, VAT accounting, property plant and equipment accounting,
treasury accounting and all other components of financial statements.
