Under the control of the Cashier Supervisor, the Cashier Self-Service Employee is responsible for:
Manage sales registration and collection operations for products/items in the store in order to help achieve company objectives. You are responsible for opening and closing the cash register.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
MANAGEMENT OF THE FUND
-
Register/scan products using a barcode reader;
-
Communicate the price to the customer;
-
Make collections using the various existing methods (credit card, check, cash, etc.);
-
Check the authenticity and completeness of banknotes during cash payments;
-
Make exchanges or refunds;
-
Make the statement of cash receipts for the day and communicate to his hierarchy.
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
-
Welcome and guide customers;
-
Advise customers and ensure their loyalty.
PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITIES OF THE ENTITY
-
Ensure the replacement / interim for the positions indicated;

Participate in all other activities at the request of the hierarchy (business seminar, awareness, training, etc.).
Training and Professional Experience:
-
Academic level: Baccalaureate in General or Technical Education;
-
Professional experience: minimum 01 year of experience as a cashier in a large or medium-sized area
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
-
Be comfortable with numbers and master the sales and collection process;
-
Implement customer reception techniques;
-
Have a good command of the different payment methods;
-
Be able to authenticate banknotes;
-
Have a good knowledge of the operation of a computerized cash register;
-
Master the rules of security, cash handling and payments;
-
Have a sense of hospitality, courtesy, sense of service, patience and rigor as being the essential qualities required for the position;

Be able to work under pressure;
-
Have a neat appearance;
-
Demonstrate a good spirit of confidentiality and integrity.
