Global Schools collaborates with IÉSEG School of Management to offer scholarships for Global Schools students to attend IÉSEG’s International High School Summer Program in July 2023.

The Global Schools Program is thrilled to announce its renewed collaboration with the IÉSEG School of Management in Paris, France. The IÉSEG School of Management is a world-renowned university with over 175+ faculty from 48 countries and over 7,000+ current students. It is ranked 3rd in international accreditations, and it has received the “Welcome to France” certification which distinguishes higher education institutions that have met specific criteria for welcoming international students. More information on IÉSEG’s exchange programs can be found in the following brochure.

Volunteer Scholarships – Advocates, Mentors, and Project Officers.

IÉSEG will fully sponsor one Global Schools volunteer from any country/territory to attend the summer programs in 2023. To be eligible, prospective applicants must be:

  1. Currently enrolled students in an undergraduate or graduate program;

  2. Have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program within the past 3 years.

The full sponsorship includes flights, accommodation, and program tuition. The summer programs run from July 3rd to 14th and are: Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Digital Marketing; Fashion Business; Wine Business; Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability; and the International Summer Academy. In addition to the academic component of the program, students will take part in extracurricular and cultural activities around France.

Eligibility and Deadlines.

To be eligible for this opportunity, prospective applicants must read the linked brochure to ensure that they meet the requirements and have all information required from the application checklist, including a passport, higher-education level transcripts, and an English proficiency test for non-native speakers. Global Schools volunteers and alumni are encouraged to apply through the IÉSEG application portal, which can be found on their website.

In addition, Global Schools has created a separate scholarship application for students that are not able to afford the application fee on the traditional university portal. This application option is for a fully-funded scholarship (tuition, flights, accommodation). This does not include transportation to and from airports, VISA fees, or other personal expenses.

  1. First, volunteers/Global Schools Advocates should review the short-answer essay questions at the following link. A resume and transcript are also required for complete submission.

  2. After reviewing the materials, Global Schools alumni and volunteers must submit their applications on the following Google Form to be considered for this scholarship.

  3. The deadline for the fully-funded Global Schools Scholarship is March 1. Shortlisted candidates will be sent to IÉSEG for final review. The applicant must also be willing to engage in any other selection activities required by the IÉSEG committee, including a potential interview. If selected by the academic committee, the applicant must be willing to upload their materials, including their passport, transcripts, and other signed documents to the IÉSEG application portal by the appropriate deadlines, or risk forfeiting their spot to another candidate.

The Global Schools team acknowledges that this could be the first time many students are applying to a collegiate-level opportunity. Therefore, please watch last year’s webinar recording for tips on how to complete the application. Please just reference the application tips and essay tips, as the dates and deadlines are not relevant for 2023. Watch here: Global Schools Application Tips Webinar.

The Global Schools Program is incredibly grateful to the IÉSEG School of Management for their continued support and is thrilled to work more closely on the summer programs. Global Schools extends its gratitude to the entire team for their work on this collaboration.
