GOLDERN OPPORTUNITY: FINANCE AND HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT NEEDED AT ALIMA NGO

DEMTOU as part of its partnership with the Humanitarian NGO ALIMA, is looking for a position as FINANCE AND HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT for their joint project in the SOUTH WEST region.




DEMTOU PRESENTATION

HUMANITARIAN is a non-discriminatory, non-profit humanitarian organization whose objective is to provide assistance to people affected by crises and to facilitate sustainable community development.

Its mission is to fight for a better humanity through seven sectors of activity: Health, Nutrition, Early recovery, Social cohesion, Food security, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), and Protection. The NGO is currently present in five regions of Cameroon and has its headquarters in Yaoundé, two operational offices (Kousseri and Buea), two liaison offices (Maroua and Douala) and two joint offices in the North West and West Cameroon.

MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES :

⦁ Assist the Hiring Admin, organize interviews, complete the formalities for employees at the project level, in accordance with local labor laws, archive and update individual employee files, inform them of their rights and prepare all tax declarations mandatory, to ensure legal compliance;

⦁ Assist project ADMIN, and/or team leaders and supervisors to establish annual vacation planning and personnel changes to forecast HR needs and ensure HR availability for project activities. project ;



⦁ Perform monthly salary calculation for national project employees in Homere (days off, unpaid leave, sick leave, overtime, salary advance, etc.), to ensure timely and accurate salary payments;

⦁ Support the project administrator in the implementation of internal communication policies in order to stimulate the active participation of staff and the commitment of ALIMA;

⦁ In close collaboration with the project administrator, seeks the best options to avoid and/or resolve possible labor disputes in the project;

⦁ Cash management, purchasing procedures, monitoring of payments, cash advances and settlements, bank reconciliation)

⦁ Assist the project administrator in the monthly closing of ongoing and controlled accounts, with due diligence and on time;

⦁ Accurately enter financial information in Homer and SAGA

⦁ Ensures that the members of his team follow the training and awareness

 

sessions and apply

⦁ Contributes to creating and maintaining a nurturing and protective environment.

⦁ Work in conjunction with the entire team working at the district hospital and the staff of the partners with whom we are in contact

⦁ Makes itself available for any evaluation of health-related actions throughout the health district and according to identified needs

⦁ In all areas of his activity, he makes proposals for improvement or adaptation

EXPENSES AND COMPETENCES

Training:

⦁ Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, or in Human Resources or its equivalent.

Experiences:

⦁ Experience of at least 2 years in a similar position,

⦁ Experience with NGOs is an asset

Languages :

Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is essential. Being bilingual is an asset
