CAMRAIL PRESS RELEASE
As part of the partnership agreement between CAMRAIL and the Institute for Professional Training in Railway Trades in Central Africa, IMEFAC, for the training of young Cameroonians in basic railway trades,
the General Directors of CAMRAIL and IMEFAC announce the joint launch of a competition for the recruitment of twenty (20) Assistant Drivers and thirty (30) Maneuvering Agents according to the following schedule and practical arrangements: Registration for the competition is done at one of the following addresses: www.imefac.org or www.camrail.cm no later than April 27, 2025. Persons meeting the following conditions may apply:

Assistant Driver: Aged 20 to 25 years old on the date of the competition and holder of a GCE-AL or a scientific or technical Baccalaureate (C, E, FI, F2, F3, BT MA) or a recognized equivalent diploma.

Laborer: Aged between 20 and 25 years old on the date of the competition and holder of a Baccalaureate or a recognized equivalent diploma.

DATE AND LOCATION OF THE COMPETITION:
The competition will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at
7:30 a.m. sharp in the following examination centers : Douala: IMEFAC headquarters opposite the CAMRAIL Medical Center in Bassa,
Yaoundé: Etoa-Meki Public School, Ngaoundéré: Bilingual Enieg.

COMPLETION OF APPLICATION FILES:
Documents to be provided during online registration (In PDF or JPEG format)
1. A certified photocopy of the required diploma dated less than three (03) months ago,
2. A certified photocopy of the birth certificate dated less than three
(03) months ago;
3. A certified photocopy of the national identity card;
4. A curriculum vitae bearing the candidate’s full address / telephone number;
5. A receipt for payment of the sum of 20,000 CFA francs (Twenty thousand CFA francs). This sum represents 50 0/0 of the total cost of 40,000 (Forty Thousand
FCFA), the remaining part of which is subsidized by CAMRAIL •

The competition will take place in three stages.

• Written tests,
• Medical fitness examinations,
• Psychotechnical tests.

WRITTEN TESTS
The tests will cover the following subjects:
Profession Subjects Eliminatory mark
Laborer – Text study,
• Culture 08/20
Driver’s Assistant
Mathematics

Candidates will present themselves 30 minutes before the time of the first test in front of the examination rooms with the
National Identity Card and the receipt for submitting the file. They must not have any papierA or documents with them.
The composition and draft sheets will be given to them in the room.
The average passing mark at the end of the written tests is greater than or equal to 12/20 and without an eliminatory mark.
MEDICAL FITNESS EXAMINATIONS AND PSYCHOTECHNICAL TESTS,
Only candidates declared admissible at the end of the written tests will be summoned to take the medical aptitude examinations and the psychotechnical tests.
The eligibility results, the final results of the competition and the start date of the training will be published on the websites www.imefac.org and www.camrail.cm Candidates declared definitively admitted must register at the Institute of Professional Training for Railway Trades in Central Africa (IMEFAC) in Douala by paying the training fees which will be communicated later and half of which will be covered by CAMRAIL.
