Qualifications
Required qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in ecology, wildlife biology, environmental science, or a related field. • Minimum of 02 years professional experience in one or more of the following domains: wildlife behavior and health monitoring, ecological monitoring, field patrols, community sensitization Required skills and competencies • ⁠Courage encountering wildlife in its natural habitat; • Strong knowledge of wildlife health issues and monitoring techniques. • Proficiency in data collection, management, and analysis, including experience with relevant software and tools. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.




• Experience in fieldwork and a willingness to work in remote locations and challenging conditions. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Computer literate, demonstrated knowledge of data collection tools the use of GPS and GIS software, Cybertracker/SMART and related tools (A Good knowledge of camera trapping, wildlife observation and photo analysis is an added advantage); • Proven skills in statistics and data analysis (Excel, other relevant software). Working Relationships Internal: Works closely with Junior biologist, field Ecological monitoring Intern/Volunteer, as well as national biomonitoring teams in order to collect information and supervise field activities. External: The position requires close collaboration with local communities and the conservation service
