Job title: HEAVY GOODS VEHICLE FLEET MANAGER (M) Job
location: NKOTENG, CAMEROON
Contract type: Fixed-term contract / Permanent contract
Main tasks: A fleet manager or fleet manager is responsible for managing the
logistical, administrative and technical aspects of the fleet. He/she therefore ensures the relationship between the operations department and
the operators, supervises the maintenance of the vehicle fleet and its means of transport and monitors them.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• the creation of technical documents relating to each vehicle;
• the validation of documents;
• the maintenance and upkeep of the various vehicles present in the fleet;
• the establishment and planning of vehicle exits and entries;
• the allocation of means of transport to the various drivers, according to the schedule;
• the preparation of vehicles for technical inspection;
• the monitoring and traceability of each vehicle;
• the acquisition or resale of vehicles in the fleet
• compliance with cost, deadline and quality of service requirements
Training and operational skills:
• have technical knowledge related to the sector of activity
• have a good sense of management
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar position;
• Have at least a BTS in Logistics Transport Management or BTS in Vehicle Maintenance
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills,
• Have digital dexterity and good visual acuity;
• Knowledge of transport legislation is an asset
Skills and qualifications:
• writing skills;
• good command of IT tools;
• a sense of service, customer relations and diplomacy;
• a sense of management and budget management;
• good analytical skills and good management of figures;
• stress management and calm in all circumstances.
