Partner with the best

As a HRBP, you will be providing HR support for client group Leaders, Managers and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities. Individuals in this category act as the HR Manager of record for a client group. This position requires thorough understanding, application and mastery of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context. The scope of this role covers francophone countries in SSA and overseeing the Production Solutions business segment.

As a HR Business Partner , you will be responsible for:

  • Being the first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes.
  • Advising functional managers or other functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems
  • Leading as a project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event
  • Demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, with speed to adapt to changing organizational needs. Ability to proactively identify issues and recommend applicable solutions.
  • Being the face of the company to professionally liaise with government auditors, local labour authorities, unions, immigrations, the courts and government offices etc. at different levels as the face of the Company with integrity and confidence.
  • Supporting HR activities such as employee / labor relations, absence management, investigations / grievances, performance management (PIP, disciplinary actions, etc),
  • Providing local SME knowledge at restructuring operationalization, HR customer queries on life-cycle activities, technology, policies, etc., and projects as assigned.
  • Providing local SME knowledge in employee relations issues and ensure concerns are properly reported & resolved
  • Providing local SME knowledge in issues and provide input for improvement
  • Supporting adoption of standard practices and consistent ways of working to achieve operational excellence and compliant with internal control guideline, employment law and Global HR process changes
  • Challenge, rethink and redesign HR practices as needed Coach and advise managers, employees and other customers, providing robust direction and guidance through all elements of the People lifecycle.
  • Supporting process improvement & technologies that can be used in the Region, support process automation and serve as liaison to regional service delivery center leads  and HR Systems teams
  • Working collaboratively with the rest of the HR team, product companies and Centers of Expertise to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency of HR service delivery across the country.
  • Being available for travel internally and externally

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Be fluent in English & French (spoken and written) as an added advantage
  • Have a minimum of 5 years previous HR Generalist experience in delivering HR to a large enterprise population.
  • Have excellent external focus, interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to draft and review documents to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to professionally liaise with local labor authorities, immigrations, the courts and government offices etc. at different levels as the face of the Company with integrity and confidence.
  • Have a good project management experience in organizing and completing multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritizing tight deadlines.
  • Have demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, with speed to adapt to changing organizational needs.
  • Be available for travel internally and externally.
  • Have the ability to leverage HR productivity tools, systems, process and applications to drive operational efficiency and possess excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities
