Internal Controller needed at GMC Assurances S.A

GMC Assurances S.A is actively looking for Internal Controller

MAIN MISSION

• Ensure compliance with the application of the policies defined by the General Management and their compliance with the principles of the CIMA Code and Guardianship (MINFI)

SECONDARY MISSIONS

• Develop a periodic schedule for monitoring the distribution network, have it validated and applied throughout the validated period
• Write a control report per controlled point of sale and ensure the application of validated recommendations
• Ensure during controls compliance with the Standards (CIMA Code) and policies defined by the Company (pricing, risk selection, reaction times, claims management, etc ……) as well as the application of Article 13,
• Control the payout by maintaining a technical account
• Monitoring of the processing of the production of the POS Pool
• Monitoring of the maintenance of the Pool TPV current account
• Control the management of certificates (control of the distribution and return of certificates).
• Control of operations relating to other areas of the Company’s activity: claims, accounting, HR

PROFILE

• Be between 35 and 45 years old, Cameroonian national, M/F.
• Hold a BAC + 4/5 University Diploma in Management Sciences (Accounting, Management, Audit, Control, etc.)
•  A degree in Insurance would be a good asset
•  Justify at least 5 years of experience in the insurance sector, in accounting firm or similar position
•  Demonstrate a good knowledge of the insurance market.

Professional skills:

• Good Knowledge of Accounting and Taxation
• Good knowledge of the CIMA Code
• Good writing skills
• Ability to work independently
• Bilingual: French (10/10)/English (6/10)
