LIGHT GROUP SARL is a startup under Cameroonian law with a capital of 10,000,000 FCFA, specializing in industrial engineering, creation and assembly of technological processes.
I. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the sales manager, the intern will have to provide support to the company for the development of a marketing and commercial strategy for the organization of the event relating to the official presentation of the
LIGHTOIL solution scheduled for
early 2023.
The role of the sales assistant will be to ensure the administrative management of sales, to administer commercial
files to ensure their proper functioning. The
main tasks of the sales assistant will be:
1. Participate in prospecting operations
- Write business correspondence
- Hold working meetings with prospects and potential customers
2. Support administration
- Create, open new customer accounts (sales proposal, quote, order/contract, incidents)
- Update, close customer files: enter all customer information necessary for delivery and invoicing
- Manage invoices and collections in liaison with accounting, legal and litigation departments.

3. Manage customer data (CRM)
- Feed and update the customer and prospect database, file, archive files and documents.
- Prepare dashboards (sales forecasts, sales made, not concluded, etc.), monitor the evolution of objectives.
- Conduct commercial and competitive intelligence (customer portals, public and private procurement platforms)
4. Implement the operational marketing plan
- Conduct direct marketing campaigns (telemarketing, e-mailing, sms, addressed letters, newsletters, etc.) in order to increase sales and/or build customer loyalty: target identification, writing, design, programming, sending and monitoring of results
- Coordinate event logistics and advertising promotion operations such as workshops, meetings, conferences, fairs or other promotional events.
II. POSSIBLE ACTIVITIES
- Ensure contacts in the front office: physical reception, occasional trips
- Provide particularly sustained commercial support: prospecting in the field, proposing products and additional services, writing product sheets or arguments, responding to calls for tenders.
- Attend internal meetings, participate in professional events
III. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience
- Have a minimum of experience in the field of sales and customer relations.
Skills
- Good command of office tools (Microsoft Office 365 suite)
- Relational and writing skills
- Presentation and courtesy
- Interest in working in a young and growing company
- Good persuasiveness
IV. CONDITIONS
Place of work: Cameroon, douala-Akwa
Type of contract: paid internship of a minimum duration of three (3) months with possibility
of direct employment (CDD)
Start date: November 2022
