JOB: African Management Services Company (AMSCO) Recruiting Staff

African Management Services Company (AMSCO) is looking for 01 Transit & Import Manager.

 

 

 

 

MAIN MISSION
The Transit and Import Manager carries out customs administrative operations and the international movement of goods on behalf of internal customers, in accordance with regulations and with a quality objective.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance with customs obligations,
• Ensure collaboration with the CAD (Accredited Customs Commissioners)
• Intervene on customs declaration files,
• Follow the process of shipments and receipts of import orders, customs clearance,
• Ensure that the needs of internal customers (end users) in terms of ordering are met,
• Prepare, monitor or control the invoicing of transit or customs operations
• Collect the shipping documents for the goods and compile the service file (transit, customs)
• Control documents related to the international movement of goods
• Manage customs control missions

 

PROFILE

• Minimum a Bac +3 with training or certification in Customs and Transit
• A professional experience of at least 05 years in Transit
• Professional experience in team management will be an asset
• Professional experience in the management of customs controls

He/She must have:

• Knowledge of the use of financial systems
• Mastery of the Transit process and customs processes
• Good analytical ability
• Mastery of computers
• Planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team / collaboration with support services
• Knowledge of tax and legal laws relating to transportation
