The DUVAL ARNO DISTRIBUTION (SAS) Company is recruiting for the needs of its services: 01 Charcutier-caterer Manager M/F.

Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Charcutier-Caterer Manager’s mission is to:
Manage the supply, preparation and production of charcuterie and catering products (cold starters, hot starters, cooked dishes) according to hygiene and safety rules
food in order to achieve the store’s turnover objectives. He/She is therefore, among other things, in charge of managing self-service Employees, analyzing the needs of
consumers, the organization of the window display, commercial animation and the supply of its sector.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
STOCK MANAGEMENT AND SUPPLY
-
Control the receipt of orders;
-
Define supply needs;
-
Propose menus and products to market;
-
Negotiate with product suppliers.
SALES SPACE MANAGEMENT
-
Ensure the proper application of commercial operations (promotions, promotion, etc.);
-
Ensure the cleanliness of the sales area, as well as the safety of customers and staff;
-
Ensure the good presentation of the displays and the window;
-
Define the layout of the products/displays in the window.
TRACKING PRODUCTS OR ITEMS
-
Check temperatures in displays;
-
Manage product packaging;
-
Check product conformity (quality, etc.);
-
Ensure the removal of damaged products;
-
Participate in setting prices and deciding on commercial promotions.
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT
-
Greet and guide customers;
-
Advise customers and ensure their loyalty.
TEAM MANAGEMENT
-
Organize work and set objectives for employees;
-
Support employees in carrying out their missions;
-
Monitor, record and evaluate employee performance and skills;
-
Identify any employee training needs;
-
Coordinate and participate in the implementation of the safety and environment policy within the unit;
-
Participate in the development of the budget and management of the unit’s resources;
-
Participate in all other activities at the request of the hierarchy (seminar, budget conference, etc.);
-
Organize continuity of service in the unit.
PROFILE
-
Training and Professional Experience:
-
Academic level: BTS Hospitality or equivalent
-
Professional experience: Minimum 03 years of professional experience in catering and having had to manage a team
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION
- Control the cold chain;
- Have a good knowledge of charcuterie products and their manufacturing techniques;
- Know the methods of preserving food products;
- Be able to carry out culinary preparations;
- Have knowledge of stock management and good commercial skills;
- Be able to respect health and safety instructions;
- Be able to use IT tools;
- Have good endurance and physical resistance, as you may be required to lift loads;
- Demonstrate discretion, honesty, proactivity and availability;
- Have a sense of service, be versatile, organized and able to work in a team;
- Have good interpersonal skills and be rigorous in the work;
- Be able to manage and lead a team of collaborators.
