MISSIONS function

The main role of the heavy equipment electrician is to ensure the electrical maintenance of machines, generators and compressors.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out pre-operational and regulatory technical checks
Replace defective parts (engine, pumps, regulating organs, gearbox, clutch, air conditioning, etc.)
Be able to troubleshoot electrical organs (starters, alternators and converters on the electrical circuit
Carry out repairs in the event of a malfunction
Monitor the stocks of spare parts with your hierarchy
Systematically check the operation of the machines and make the necessary arrangements for interventions
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards in the workshops
Make reports on maintenance equipment at his expense.

 

 

 

 

Profile
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS

BAC+2 TRAINING
in After-Sales Automotive Maintenance or Electricity or equivalent diploma
At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of heavy machinery
Having a driving license (B, C, D, E, G) would be an asset

 

 

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Know how engines work
Know IT tools for fault detection and CMMS
Know how to use geometry equipment, lifting, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
Know health & safety rules Know
how to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams
Master the use of diagnostic devices
Capable of reacting to sudden events

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
Knowing how to communicate effectively with your hierarchy and colleagues
Available, precise and meticulous in your work
Able to work independently
Able to make decisions
Able to work in a team
Language
Knowledge of English and French will be an asset
