Job Description

  • Welcomes, informs and directs people to the reception area (station, company, etc.) or to the structure’s telephone switchboard and issues passes, badges, tickets, invitations,
  • Can carry out mail management (collection, distribution, etc.), simple administrative tasks (filing, computer entry, entry of pre-established letters, etc.).
  • Can coordinate a team.

 

 




 

Access to employment

  • This profession is accessible with a Bac level diploma (Professional baccalaureate, etc.) in the service sector, business assistance, reception.
  • It is also accessible with professional experience in the sector without a particular diploma.
  • The practice of one or more foreign language(s) may be required.
  • Office experience may be required.
  • Proven work experience of at least 5 years

 

 

 

Main missions

  • Greet people entering the building
  • Respond to public inquiries
  • Manage phone calls and forward them to recipients
  • Accompany customers to where they need to go
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail
  • Organize and archive documents
  • Manage reservations
  • Schedule appointments and meetings
  • Perform additional administrative duties

 

 

 

 

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of customer care principles
  • Communication skills (by phone, email or in person)
  • Ability to use major IT devices and management software
  • Basic administrative/accounting knowledge
  • Ability to relate to the public, kindness and availability
  • Ability to manage several different activities at the same time (multitasking)
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem resolution
