HYDRAULIC ENGINEER (F/M)

The Société de Transformation des Produits d’Élevage et d’Agriculture du Sahel (SOTREAS) ,
newly established in the locality of Maroua (Far North Region – Cameroon), with a view to developing its industrial production and marketing unit fresh tomato; research 01 Hydraulic engineer.

Job description : a hydraulic engineer conducts hydrological studies by carrying out
studies to optimize the production of hydraulic power stations, while respecting
safety and environmental protection standards.

ASSIGNMENTS

• Perform hydraulic studies;
• Carry out hydroelectric production optimization studies;
• Carry out studies on the quality of flow forecasts;
• Perform the design, modification, assembly-adjustment or maintenance of automated equipment sets;
• Ensure the maintenance and repair of hydraulic installations and systems;
• Determines the hydraulic receivers, calculation of force, speed-power couple…

 

 

 

SKILLS

• Minimum BAC+ 5 in the field of geotechnics, hydrotechnics or hydrology;
• Significant experience of at least 2 years in one of the fields mentioned above;
• In-depth knowledge of hydrotechnical works;
• Be rigorous and precise;
• Knowledge of fluid mechanics and mathematics;
