MUSIC TEACHER (F/M) – WAKAFRICA MUSIC
The music teacher will be responsible for providing high quality music lessons to students at our school. He/she will play a vital role in the musical education of our students by developing their musical skills, stimulating their creativity and fostering their love for music.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize music lessons adapted to the levels and needs of the students.
- Teach different musical instruments and/or musical theory according to established educational programs.
- Encourage and support students in their musical progress by offering them personalized advice.
- Organize auditions and concerts to allow students to perform in public and gain confidence.
- Develop creative programs to stimulate students’ interest and foster their artistic expression.
- Assess student progress and provide reports to parents on their achievements.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate music into other areas of learning.
- Participate in educational meetings and trainings to improve teaching skills.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging and inspiring learning environment for students.
Requirements:
- Degree in music education, music or related field.
- Demonstrated experience teaching music, preferably with students of all ages and levels.
- Strong musical skills and mastery of at least one musical instrument.
- Thorough knowledge of music theory, performance techniques and teaching methods.
- Ability to communicate effectively and encourage student creativity.
- Sensitivity to cultural diversity and ability to adapt to different musical styles.
- Passion for music education and commitment to the artistic development of students.

- Location: Bonapriso, Douala
