YOUR JOB AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main mission as an HSS expert will be to support the HSS diagnosis and planning of the Kette and Ndelele health district in eastern Cameroon, under the leadership of the health authorities.
In more detail, you will have to:
– Provide technical support throughout the HSS process and in particular support the Batouri Health and Nutrition team (1 Program Manager, 1 Deputy Program Manager and 1 supervisor)
– Support the project manager for the collection, processing and analysis of primary and secondary data
– Coordinate and organize the risk and capacity analysis workshop (Workshop 1)
– Coordinate the work between the partners, organize and manage Workshop 2 in collaboration with the competent authorities and the local project manager
– Provide your support for the organization and management of the planning workshop (Workshop 3)
– Provide your support for writing the final report of the whole process
YOUR PROFILE
Diploma: Master’s degree or equivalent Bac + 5 in Public Health
Experience: at least 5 years in technical support for health systems, including 2 years in the humanitarian sector in an INGO
Skills:
Mastery of primary care protocols and international standards.
Fluency in French (written, read, spoken). Fluency in English is a plus.
YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
– 3 months of fixed-term contract under French law
– Gross monthly starting salary from 2332EUR to 2676EUR depending on experience
– Per diem and monthly living expenses: 348EUR + 201EUR (cf eurocost) net, paid in the field.
– Monthly context allowance: 150EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000EUR/year)
– 16% of gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens.
– Transport and accommodation: Support for travel and collective accommodation
– Medical cover: 100% of the payment of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
– Leave and RnR: 25 days per year, 20 RTT per year and 215EUR paid during the recovery period
