We are actively looking for one of our clients based in Douala, a subsidiary of a large group
bank, a: TREASURY OFFICER
Main missions
Actively participate in the implementation of the treasury department strategy adopted by the
Bank, within the framework of internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
Assigned tasks
- Assist in balance sheet management
- Maintain and improve the relationship with existing customers and expand the customer base
- Manage foreign exchange positions to mitigate foreign exchange risk.
- Coordinate foreign exchange sales activities in accordance with foreign exchange regulations
- Inform and assist sales management in the sale of treasury products to customers
- Monitor daily liquidity
- Monitor money market operations in a very proactive manner
- Help manage financial risks related to treasury activities
- Responsible for reconciling cash accounts
- Contribute to internal and regulatory reporting
- Any other mission entrusted by the Director of the Department.
Profile required
- Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Data Analysis or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of CEMAC financial markets and regulatory requirements
- Impeccable level of loyalty, honesty and integrity
- Ability to work under pressure and independently on set objectives
- Proactivity and sense of teamwork
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in French and English
- Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint tools.
