BEACAM is a citizen association in partnership with a non-profit organization. As part of its oral genealogy project in Cameroon aimed at: preserving and establishing a good archive of our ancestors; to create a bridge for genealogical research through those who are living; to provide villages and living people with a written archive of their heritage and finally to preserve the oral traditions of our villages. Are you a history and culture enthusiast looking for a job? Do you want to be part of a project that will change the lives of future generations? BEACAM is recruiting committed people of good moral character who will work as field agents as part of the oral genealogy project in the different departments and villages of the Center region.

PURPOSE OF POSITIONS – Field Agent (05)

*Collect genealogical data from informants in villages

*Carry out interviews via Android phone

*Check the accuracy of the data collected via the telephone and the collection form

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

*Well versed in the culture and traditions of the Central region

*Have a team spirit

*Have good interpersonal and communication skills

*Very good writing and record keeping skills

*Ability to work under pressure

*Good attention to detail, learns quickly and must be in good health

*Have a solution-oriented brain.

*Must not have any other commitment with an institution

*Have an Android phone equipped with location system (GPS) (preferred)
