Job offer: Head of SME Department – CCA

The position of SME Department Manager is open within the General Management of Crédit Communautaire d’Afrique Bank SA .
Mission
Under the supervision of General Management, the position holder will be responsible for: Ensuring the management and growth of the SME segment. Evaluate the market, take steps to identify opportunities and risks in financing SMEs, and propose the most suitable offers.
Profile
  • Hold a Bac +5 in (Banking, finance, Management sciences, Commercial management, Marketing and communication),
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years in the field of corporate customer management, including two (2) years spent in a similar position.

 




 

He/She must have
Technical skills
  • Good knowledge of the Bank’s products and the Clients’ sector of activity;
  • In-depth knowledge of the local economic context;
  • Good command of financial and accounting analysis tools;
  • Good command of financing techniques;
  • Good knowledge of risk parameters;
  • Good writing skills;
  • Good knowledge of the Bank’s core banking;
  • Good command of office tools;
  • Good command of fluent English.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement the commercial strategy of the bank for which he is responsible with a view to achieving objectives;
  • Develop and consolidate the customer portfolio of your department in order to increase the Bank’s NBI;
  • Help Account Managers ensure responsibility for managing the SME customer portfolio assigned to them;
  • Coordinate competitive market intelligence activities;
  • Participate in expanding the network by proposing new strategic targets
  • Identify development opportunities for the SME portfolio;
  • Ensure daily monitoring of performance indicators for account managers;
  • Ensure the achievement of assigned objectives;
  • Manage transactions and ensure coordination of operations with the Bank entities concerned;
  • Analyze and validate credit files at the first level according to the Bank’s credit risk management and control policy;
  • Present credit files to the Credit Committees;
  • Monitor the implementation and monitoring of its portfolio commitments with the Bank entities concerned: (Use the commitment lines; renew authorizations; recover receivables; request overruns);
  • Monitor the profitability and performance of the SME portfolio, and ensure its quality
  • Ensure the monitoring and recovery of doubtful debts in close collaboration with the recovery sub-department;
  • Make the monitoring and control reports available to the hierarchy within the allotted deadlines;
  • Make periodic reporting of activity and propose avenues for improvement.
Position based in: Douala
