Job offer: Internal auditor needed

A French academic institution with campuses located in Cameroon is looking for an Internal Auditor for its services ; position based in Yaoundé.

Missions and tasks

The main mission of the internal auditor will be to evaluate the risk management, control and governance processes by making proposals to strengthen their effectiveness in order to improve productivity and results.

The tasks will consist of:

Verify and analyze information (financial and organizational) to identify risks;
Implement and ensure the execution of an annual audit plan;
Evaluate the effectiveness of the internal controls implemented;
Ensure optimal use of company resources (staff, assets, funds, etc.);
Carry out regularity, compliance and management audits;
Indicate the effectiveness of the procedures applied and guide the Management Committee in a process of continuous improvement;
Detect possible inadequacies and risks that could alter the profitability and profitability of the Group.

Conduct any inspection and investigation in the interest of the Group;
All service-related tasks

Profile required

Bac + 4/5 in audit control, accounting, finance, management control or equivalent diploma;
Three (03) years’ experience in the areas of internal audit;
Mastery of conducting an audit mission according to standards;
Mastery of financial flow analysis;
Legal, tax and social knowledge;
Be rigorous, proactive, honest with a strong sense of confidentiality;
Be able to work under pressure;
Have a high sense of analysis and synthesis;
Mastery of computers.
