Function
MISSIONS
The Sales & Operations Planning Manager must:
Play a key leadership role in managing, developing and coordinating the company’s sales and operations planning process;
Introduce transformative solutions to significantly improve the sales and operations planning process and generate substantial cost reductions throughout logistics processes;
Identify the complexities inherent in supply chain dynamics, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and manage a robust S&OP process in collaboration with different departments;
Drive demand, production, fleet and material resource planning processes;
Track and report on all key S&OP indicators covering SSA, PPA, FPA, OTIF and DOC;
Oversee the complete optimization of the end-to-end supply chain network using state-of-the-art network design tools;
Conduct footprint analysis and regular review of the distribution network;
Define the most efficient and effective network configuration and associated optimal material flows;
Manage logistics cost performance encompassing total distribution costs and inbound transportation cost performance;
Lead communication through S&OP and NetOp processes to ensure cross-functional alignment on the proposed optimal scenario and ensure implementation of decisions;
Effectively communicate results through insightful dashboards and executive deliverables;
Provide visionary leadership, presenting transformation opportunities and strategic ideas during regular interactions with senior management;
Play a central role in building and training high-performing end-to-end planning teams at the national level;
Oversee the training of the team on the use of S&OP tools and templates ensuring their ability to autonomously prepare, execute and analyze S&OP reports.
Profile
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bac+5 in Logistics and/or Supply Chain;
More than 07 years of practical experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain;
A minimum of 05 years of experience in developing and leading S&OP processes;
Experience in developing and implementing logistics projects.
Technical skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
Data and/or statistical modeling;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to deliver narrative presentations and communicate key information effectively;
Demonstrated ability to successfully execute multiple projects.
