Job offer: VSE trainer/accompanist

Cameroun Entreprises Développement (CED) is a non-profit association under Cameroonian law created in 2006. Local partner in Cameroon of the European Institute of Cooperation and Development (IECD), Cameroun Entreprises Développement implements the “support program for VSEs”: training and support program for very small businesses (VSE) and small businesses (PE) in management, marketing, management and finance. Cameroun Entreprises Développement has 02 centers from which its services are deployed (Yaoundé and Douala).

 

 

Missions

Your mission is to contribute to the skills development of beneficiaries of the VSE (Very Small Enterprise) Program. Within the TPE Team, the accompanying trainer will be under the responsibility of the Director of the CED Yaoundé or Douala center and will be responsible for:

 

Train entrepreneurs who benefit from the different TPE service offers

• Prospect and select entrepreneurs, beneficiaries of all service offers;
• Organize and lead training sessions in management, management, marketing and finance;
• Contribute to the development of training content and materials following the CED skills-based approach.

Supporting entrepreneurs in management

• Ensure monitoring and support visits to beneficiary entrepreneurs in the field;
• Establish an initial diagnosis, set business objectives, develop and follow an action plan with the entrepreneur, in consultation with the project team;
• Support the entrepreneur in the implementation and use of management tools.

 

 

 

Participate in the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem

• Contribute to the organization of the activities of the Entrepreneurs Club;
• Participate in external events/fairs as part of prospecting activities.

Depending on the activities, other additional instructions may also be entrusted to him.

Training profile

: Bac+3 level training with significant professional experience in accounting management, financial analysis and ideally training or conference facilitation (suitable for all audiences).

Expected skills and qualities 

• Comfort in reading and analyzing VSE/SME financial data;
• Mastery of the main management tools of a VSE/SME;
• Comfort in formulating and implementing organizational strategies for VSE/SMEs;
• Good knowledge of the main issues of VSE/SMEs;
• Animation skills and good oral expression;
• Rigor, autonomy, sense of organization, spirit of initiative, strength of proposal;
• Adaptation, organization and human relations management skills;
• Good knowledge of the Pack Office computer tool (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and good writing skills;
• Strong attraction to field work;
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international team;
• Strong interest in the field of entrepreneurship.

 

 

Position conditions
Hierarchical responsibility: Under the responsibility of the CED center director in Yaoundé or Douala.

Location: Yaoundé or Douala, occasional trips to other locations depending on needs.
