The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS), is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law whose main mission is to improve in a sustainable and measurable manner the social situation of the Cameroonian population and to promote the health and prosperity of families. Thus, ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its partners in the public and private sectors to offer high-quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For more than twenty-five years, ACMS has been providing the Cameroonian population with comprehensive and evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria and HIV prevention among others.

The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS) is looking for candidates (M IF) to fill the position of Financial Analyst based in Yaoundé.
Who are we recruiting?
The Financial Analyst will have overall responsibility for ensuring all planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting operations, coordination and management of support teams. He will work under the responsibility of the Senior Financial Manager and the Principal Investigator with the following main responsibilities:
Essential functions:
Planning
 Contribute to the development of quarterly and annual work plans for Project  
0 Assist Project Coordinators and sub-recipients in setting up and reviewing their budget

Budgeting
Develop the annual budget for the project and ensure its timely transmission to the donor,
         Coordinate the development of project budgets,
  Provide support for the development of the annual budget for common costs of the platform;

         Monitor the expenditures of the project’s sub-recipients,
         Process and analyze project expenditures;
         Alert on the level of consumption,
  Provide the interface for monitoring the Project’s sub-beneficiaries;
         Supervise the various sub-recipients at least once a quarter;

     Update the various dashboards and monitoring indicators required by the donor, including essential tools, in particular the monitoring plan, the visit report and the checklist for the financial review of invoices;
  Follow up on the recommendations of institutional audits and supervisions with the various sub-recipients,
     Communicate regularly with project managers on the availability of funds on the budget lines;




     Propose a monthly budget for the smooth running of activities; Conduct a monthly analysis of project budgets and propose reclassifications and realignments,
     Update monthly the various budget monitoring dashboards

required by the donor;
  Process financial reports, supporting documents and payment requests from the various sub-recipients within the required deadlines;

Coordination and management of support teams
     Ensure the organization and synergy of activities between programs and finances,
     Ensure capacity building of project teams on financial management and budget monitoring;
     Organize staff meetings for planning and monitoring project budgets;
Qualifications and professional experience required
     Hold at least a Bac+4 in accounting, management or finance;

     Have at least five (05) years of professional experience, including at least two (2) years in a structure of comparable size to the ACMS as a Financial Analyst, Management Controller or Accountant,
     Have supervised at least two employees in an accounting or financial department
     Have mastery of donor procedures such as USAID •
     Speak French fluently and have a good command of English
  Have very good knowledge of computers, particularly in common accounting software and especially Excel and SAGE X3 • Have good interpersonal skills.
