PROMHANDICAM, services for the promotion of disabled people in Cameroon, is a private, non-profit social work, founded in 1975
PROMHANDICAM is looking for motivated and passionate interns to join its team in the following services:
Psychosocial support and monitoring
Projects (strengthening access to inclusive education and economic integration of people with disabilities,
support for the establishment of an inclusive early warning system in the event of flooding and drought in the
central region)
Secretariat
Accounting
Communication
IT
Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Assistant
Human Resources
Social Life Assistants (AVS)
Social worker
Braille transcription
Internship duration: 03 to 06 months
Location: Yaoundé, Cameroon
Profiles sought:
• New graduates or students in the above-mentioned or similar fields
• Excellent writing and creativity skills
• Dynamism, sense of initiative and autonomy
• Knowledge of the disability approach
• Experience in one of the fields concerned in this offer would be an asset.

PROMHANDICAM-Association, is a private, non-profit, secular, apolitical, non-
denominational social work, founded on August 15, 1975 by the late Daniel De Rouffignac (former colonel of the French army).
PROMHANDICAM-Association has among other objectives to develop any action likely to promote
the development of people with disabilities, their socio-economic integration and their full participation in the
inclusive development process of society; educate children living with disabilities; facilitate access to
health, rehabilitation and re-education services for people with disabilities, and for all people
requiring adapted and specialized health care.
Its mission is to develop the personal and collective autonomy of people with disabilities through
education, health care, rehabilitation care, as well as social inclusion.
