Missions Medical Radiologist A300-DSS-CMC NDR
As a Radiologist at CMC NDR your missions will be as follows:
- Identify the type of radiological examination/ultrasound prescribed and check the feasibility conditions with the person (state of health, current treatment, premedication, etc.);
- Prepare the accessories (films, covers, medicosurgical equipment, etc.) and inform the person about the progress of the examination;
- Seat the person, position the x-ray machine and take the image;
- Monitor the person’s reactions and tolerance when carrying out the radiological examination and intervene as necessary;
- Carry out extensive radiological examinations to visualize and analyze the patient’s pathologies;
- Perform interventional imaging procedures using vascular routes or infiltration of nerve endings, etc.;
- Handle X-rays with ease; ultrasound machines; scanners or MRIs;
- Operate, monitor and maintain various ultrasound equipment to obtain images of the human body.
- Develop a medical image and control the quality of a medical image;
- Use, manage and transfer data and images;
- Interpret the results of the radio examinations obtained, complete the medical-administrative documents and write a report of the examination and its interpretation;
- Share examination reports with the doctor who requested the x-ray;
- Define supply needs, establish orders for materials and monitor the status of stocks and consumables;
- Check the operation of the devices and inform the maintenance department manager in the event of a malfunction;
- Apply and enforce good practices, standards and ethics of orthodoxy in radiology.
- Supervise and supervise radiology technicians.

Medical health skills
- Women’s imaging (gynecology/obstetrics), senology (tomosynthesis, peripheral biopsy, mammotome), osteoarticular, pediatrics, digestive/urology and neurology.
- Use of CT, angiographic, ultrasound (with or without fusion) (Digital Ultrasonic Diagnostic Imaging System Model DP-6600/DP-6500) and MRI equipment;
- Emergency and rescue actions;
- Edit and implement protocols to combat nosocomial infections;
- Implement sterilization procedures and processes.
Administrative technical skills
- Mastery of basic office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
- able to use E-Mails; the Vision Conference; social networks and most NICTs;
- Good writing and synthesis skills;
- Know how to prepare and present reports and/or results, in writing and/or in public.

- Probation period: 03 months renewable once;
- Type of employment contract: One-year fixed-term contract, renewable once and potentially leading to a permanent contract;
- Working hours: full-time (48 hours per week);
- Location of the position: CMC NDR locality Carrefour des Simbock sisters Yaoundé Cameroon;
