A- Main mission and expected skills
Under the supervision of the Administrative and Financial Manager, the accountant will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of accounts, collecting and verifying accounting data, establishing closing operations and regulatory documents. The mission of the accountant will consist of monitoring the processing of various operations, and setting up dashboards for management control in the sub-region (Cameroon, Chad, Congo, CAR).
Responsibilities
Check and record supporting accounting documents (purchase invoices, receipts, receipts, payroll journals, expense reports, among others),
Perform bank reconciliations.
Process, according to the standard of the chart of accounts, dedicated accounting operations: collection of items awaiting payment, payment of supplier invoices, financing of various charges and fixed assets.
Closing the accounting year: drawing up the annual accounts and registering the financial statements, updating the mandatory accounting documents intended for internal controls.
Create customer and supplier accounts and ensure their lettering, verify, process and record invoices.
Track inventory, calculate provisions, manage fixed assets, track bank suspense;
Technical skills
Have a bac +3 (Bachelor) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or any other related diplomas directly related to the position.
Having knowledge of WINPACCS ACCOUNTING would be an asset.
Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Thorough understanding of administrative and financial management procedures
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
In-depth knowledge of management control, finance, management IT
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Be bilingual (French and English)
