Background
Reach Out Cameroon is a local, woman-led, not-for-profit organization, headquartered in Buea,
in the South-West Region of Cameroon. Our aim is to improve the lives of the most vulnerable
people using a community-centered approach. We have ongoing projects in Cameroon, in North-
East Nigeria, and in the Kivu region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Reach Out operates
through three main programmatic areas: Health, Human rights and governance, and Wealth
Creation.
Specific Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Head of department, the volunteer will have to assist in the
following;

– Assists in the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of project activities
within the department.
– Participate in the timely collection and entry of various project data within the
department.
– Assists in the maintenance of the Monitoring and Evaluation database.
– Contributes to the introduction of creative and innovative program design for quality
improvement and learning.

– Participate in the development of reports within the department on technical findings
and prepare presentations.
– Facilitate the maintenance of an accurate and organized filing system for both hard and
soft copies.
– Participate in trainings on project writing and management. These skills will be used to
assist the department in the research, writing, and management of new projects.
– Assists in any other duties as required by the department.

Qualifications
– Master’s in Public Health (MPH), MSC in Epidemiology, or a Related Field
– No professional experience in the public health sector with an NGO
– Good computer application skills
– Good command of English writing and speaking
– Willing to work under pressure, has the ability to multi-task, is an excellent team player,
and is able to work in a multi-cultural work setting.
