JOB DESCRIPTION
Staff Leadership and Management
Coach and direct mentor reports to ensure staff motivation is high to achieve high performance areas.
Ensure skill transfer for staff development, motivation, and business continuity.
Guide and direct suppliers and third parties in achieving Opco objectives.
Identify staff training and development needs and implement necessary actions.
Manage team (including recruitment, on-boarding, attrition)
Set goals and objectives for direct reports, monitor progress, and maintain motivation
Set up appropriate structure to meet departmental management objectives
Provide an advisory function on governance and best practices in client
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Delivery – Task Complexity-; It contains the descriptions and overriding objectives of the job
Execute strategies to impact Market Share, Data & Data Revenue, EBITDA margins, CAPEX Returns Management and Net Subscriber Additions.
Plan, monitor and control Opex in accordance with business plans and objectives of the Unit.
Assess resource requirements for the Unit and guide and influence the long-term financial view of the Unit and operational agenda by providing input into the overall business planning.
Collaborate with a multitude of different teams across the organization to execute the sales agenda.
Oversee forecasting/planning, reporting, analytics, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training, sales program implementation, sales support, sales compensation design and administration, sales IT and Technology Enablement.
Collate, analyze, and evaluate data to increase sales productivity and performance in Sales & Distribution division. This includes providing recommendations on an optimal incentive structure (in terms of discounts and commissions).
Oversee GTM readiness for all sales initiatives.
Drive a culture of process improvement in the Sales Operations Unit and entire Sales & Distribution department.
Continuously evaluate regional performance and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee Engine Room activities by driving key business metrics and producing dashboards to provide 360-degree view of the business.
Drive improved NPS by defining and monitoring customer experience KPIs at all distribution touch points.
Ensure the sales business runs smoothly and efficiently by resolving conflicts, uncovering disconnections, providing solutions, and executing to completion.
Ensure relevant business rules are applied in the budget process and forecasting scenarios for S&D.
Oversee the execution of contracts and ensure adherence to company policies and statutory laws where applicable.
Continuously seek self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
Oversee the delivery of developmental interventions for employees in the Sales organization and ensure that trainings are proactively planned and well executed.
Ensure execution of S&D Data and Device strategy in line with company objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job Specifications – Minimum & Preferred Requirements
Education / Business Degree
University Degree in any relevant experience.
Possession of an MBA/ Masters will be advantageous
Fluent in English and language of country preferable
Work Experience
Experience:
Minimum 8 years’ experience including:
Manager track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry
5+ years Sales Operations or equivalent operations experience.
3+ years’ experience in relevant industry/sector (FMCG/ Telecommunications/ Retail Banking/ service industry context)
Experience working in a fast-paced global/multinational enterprise (understanding emerging markets advantageous)
Worked across diverse cultures and geographies
Proven track record of establishing credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical/ non-technical team members alike.
Demonstrated ability to execute multiple, interdependent business transformation end to end initiatives.
