Establish and maintain excellent inter-department communication so that roles, requirements, dependencies, decisions, and work processes are clearly articulated and understood.

Key Tasks:
Work with business areas and System Analysts to understand and document the key relationships and hierarchies in the data
Create Logical (normalized) Dimensional model
Collect metadata on tables and elements (documented from existing dictionaries and information collated through analysis) in standard templates
Work with Data Stewards/Metadata collection teams to validate/correct/extend gathered metadata
Performs source system data profiling and relationship discovery
Documents the source-to-target data specifications
Participates in the gathering and documenting of business requirements
Enhances existing models to meet new or changed business requirements
Create Physical Dimensional model
Work with DBA team on Physical implementation (Creation of indices, Snapshot vs. Temporal Partitioning etc)
Specific Job Requirements:
Education:
MS/BC degree in engineering or sciences, strong preference for software engineering or computer science
Experience:
A proven track record of delivery of enterprise-wide data architecture initiatives
6+ years of experience as an IT consultant as a data modeler
At least 4 years of experience with data quality initiatives including methodology, approach and tool support.
Experience in proven data modeling / development support for a variety of assignments and have a quick grasp of new business environments
Training:
Data Warehouse dimensional modeling fundamental and advanced topics
Data Warehouse Governance: best practices and blue print.

Multi Mediation 7.2 File and Event Processing and Configuration
Charging Systems Overview
SAS analytics
Knowledge:
rong understanding of the data modeling techniques, data architecture tools and their use
In-depth understanding of the data warehousing life and data modeling concepts (eg, dimensional, etc.)
Informatica ETL
SAS data Mart
Oracle environment
Mediation concept
PL/SQL and SQL scripting
Project management
Solution design architecture
GSM network architecture
