Job Summary: Traffic officer is responsible to ensure that there is a seamless process for loading and dispatch of trucks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive/verify Trucks for loading from various customers.
• Issues tally numbers on first come first served basis.
• He verifies loading authority in liaison with the Plant Inventory Officer.
• Accepts Loading Slip and ensures production of waybills in liaison with IT Department at the way-bridge.
• He ensures good space management to avoid stacking in the plant.
• He ensures trucks are brought in on first come first served basis.
• Ensures orderliness of traffic in and around the plant.
• Receives waybills and hand over to customer’s representative for authorization.
• Receives Waybills and hands over to Fleet Analyst or Officers for dispatch.
• Ensures customers Loading Authorities are not overdrawn.
