RECRUITMENT: INTERNAL & EXTERNAL – ECOBANK Cameroun SA: Treasury Custody Officer

ECOBANK Cameroun SA is recruiting a Treasury Custody Officer, ready to work across the national territory. The position is based in Douala. Job level: 5 Job grade: 3C

I. JOB PURPOSE

• Safeguard and manages the securities and other assets of mutual funds under the bank’s custody.
• Maintain constant relationship with Mutual funds.

 

 

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to review all sales and purchases of assets, reconciliation of cash and confirmation of shares/units transferred to the right investor.
• Ensure accurate and updated information for each unit holder of the mutual funds with respect to regulation.
• Send security releases confirmation copies to fund managers.
• Processing instructions of mutual funds
• Provide other support to the unit as and when needed.
• Fully ensure the regulatory role of custodian as per the regulation of COSUMAF n°1 of the 21st July 2022.

 

 

TEAM
• Support custody and treasury team so as to enable them achieve set targets.

• Reports to Head, Treasury & FICC

Education
• Minimum first degree

Work Experience
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a financial institution

• Working Knowledge of Excel
• Appreciation of securities Accounting
• CEMAC Financial and money market
