The Cameroonian Association for Social Marketing (ACMS), member of the PSI network is a non-governmental organization under Cameroonian law whose main mission is to improve in a sustainable and measurable way the social situation of the Cameroonian population and to promote health and family prosperity.
Thus, ACMS works in cooperation with the government and its partners in the public and private sectors to offer high quality health programs, reaching all populations in need. For more than twenty-five years, ACMS has provided the people of Cameroon with comprehensive, evidence-based public health interventions, including programs in reproductive health, malaria, and HIV prevention among others.

The Program for Access to Reproductive Health Services (PAS-SR) which is recruiting is a development project of the Republic of Cameroon co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through its development bank (KfW). ACMS is in charge of implementing this Program on a large scale.

Indeed, the PASSR implemented in four (04) regions of Cameroon (East, Adamaoua, North and Far North) aims to increase the use of modern methods of family planning, in particular methods of long duration of action.
Your contribution:
- Contribute to the preparation, drafting, implementation and evaluation of digital communication plans;
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of social mobilization plans;
- Initiate and develop annual budgeted plans for digital communication, social mobilization based on the plans of the PASSR Project;
- Initiate and pilot the creation of design in connection with the Digital;
- Coordinate the development and implementation of all PASSR media and interpersonal communication campaigns;
- Ensure the visibility of the project through the provision and deployment of digital communication media;
- Monitor the implementation of social mobilization activities to encourage target membership;
- Serve as a point of contact between the regional Project team for communication activities and monitor the execution of the regional communication plan developed;
- Define and monitor the media plan, advertising creation (press, television, posters, radio, etc.);
- Submit proposals for new communication channels and media;
- Design and monitor the production of promotional-educational material for the products;
- Ensure the distribution of promotional and educational material to beneficiaries according to a distribution plan validated by the Marketing and Distribution Director;
- Design and coordinate the production of internal publications related to PASSR;
- Contribute to the development of the budget of the PASSR communication plans;
- Produce monthly reports of project communication activities;
- Manage budgets for all elements of communication;
- Set up a listening unit for radio and TV broadcasts and produce end-of-campaign reports;
- Rely on research to carry out impact studies of communication activities and the project;
- In terms of communication, the Communication and Social Mobilization Coordinator must be in contact with the media for project activities;
- Perform Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

The basics :
- Qualifications required: Hold a Master’s degree in communication;
- Have a professional experience of at least 5 years in digital communication in business;
- Have a good professional experience in Digital communication;
- In substitution of the required diploma : Have fifteen (15) years of relevant professional experience in digital communication in business;
- Have experience in team management;
- Demonstrate a great capacity in the production of quality graphic elements that can be broadcast nationally and internationally;
- Have strong problem-solving skills;
- Have a good ability to plan and foresee potential and emerging obstacles;
- Have the ability to establish strong public relations and be comfortable communicating in a team;
- Have a high level of autonomy at work, but with a deep team spirit;
- Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision within a multicultural team;
- Demonstrate adaptability, patience, ingenuity, resilience and flexibility;
- Have results-based management skills;
- Be available to carry out regular field missions.
What would turn us on?
- Familiarity with social marketing and/or NGOs;
- Fluent in French and/or English and have a sufficient command of the other language;
- Good knowledge of computers and software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Passion for public health;
- Excellent capacity for synthesis, precision and conciseness;
