SHOW MACHINIST (FEMALE/MALE) – DREAMS EVENTS DESIGN

To strengthen our presence in the field and further satisfy our customers, we are looking for AN ATTACHER – SHOW MACHINIST.

MAIN MISSIONS) :

  • Plan and set up the set for the show
  • Assembly, dismantling of scaffolding, stage, complete or partial hanging structure.
  • Perform the assembly and installation of sets, camera equipment and materials (lighting, sound) for shows, filming, according to safety regulations and production requirements.
  • Carry out the dismantling of the decor in compliance with the regulations in force and the safety standards
  • Ensuring the supply of the decor
  • Ensure the operation and maintenance of stage equipment.

 

 

 

EXPECTED ACTIVITIES / TASKS:

  • Participate in the technical reception of shows within a team: unloading, assembly, operation, dismantling and reloading.
  • Analyze the expected hanging service and define the site’s prevention plans, hanging plans and the means of access, positioning, withdrawal and evacuation.
  • Prepare work materials

 

 

 

 

  • Coordinate his work with other teams of technicians under the supervision of his line manager.
  • Execute technical plans as well as their implementation on the ground and at height according to the specifications.
  • Ensure permanent communication with his partner on the project site
  • Perform all tasks related to work on the ground in parallel with work at height with his buddy
  • Ensure post-installation monitoring and control, during and after events or rehearsals (storage and verification of equipment, definition of security zones, etc.)
  • Clean and maintain equipment, materials, receive and store components.
  • Participate in the adaptation, assembly, operation and dismantling of shows in the program.
  • Repair or replace defective elements and parts.
  • Participate in the loading and unloading of transport trucks when all or part of the tasks described are carried out on tour.
  • Dispose of waste in accordance with environmental standards.

Functional and relational links

  • He/she is placed under the hierarchical authority of the production manager.
  • He/she will work closely with the support and business services of the Dreams Events Design network, more particularly with all the staff, namely the drivers, technicians, the videographer, etc.

  • Figuration.
  • Installation of special effects, pyrotechnics.
  • Maintenance and development throughout the establishment.

Special conditions of practice

  • Use of numerous portable tools and machines (workshop interventions and manual and/or electric tools)
  • Use of permanent or temporary lifting equipment
  • Use of various products and materials (wood, metal, oils, fuels, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS

Main skills (Knowledge):

  • Good knowledge of mechanics-Strength of materials
  • Knowledge of new technologies in permanent renewal
  • Hooking-unhooking knowledge:
  • Good knowledge of safety rules
  • Reading plans – Layout
  • Safe work at height.

Operational skills (know-how):

  • Mastery of handling in the show
  • Apply a procedure, a control method
  • Proficiency in the handling of various materials
  • Use permanent rigging and lifting equipment and materials or temporary equipment (which he may have made himself)
  • Control of tracing and height positioning
  • Mastery of safety rules related to the risk of fire and related occupational risks
  • Mastery of communication techniques in a context of working in pairs
  • Rigor and organization to respect deadlines and procedures

  • Good physical and mental stamina

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:

  • Level of training: CAP/PROBATOIRE/BAC in metal construction, Mechanics.
  • Experience: 2/3 years in a position of machinist, rigger, stage technician, scaffolder or similar position.

RECRUITMENT MODALITY

Work shift : full time

Geographical location : Douala-Cameroon
