Recruitment context
Creation of a pool of investigators; Conduct household surveys on programs implemented by CRC/CRF in the Far North region
Job
Description Conduct household surveys;
Make contact with the target households;
Conduct interviews with households
Collect data from these households, making sure that the respondent has fully understood the question being asked.
Respect the rules of neutrality and the dignity of respondents during data collection
Respect the time allotted for each question,
Write a daily report in the required format.
Qualifications and experience
Diploma / Level of study
Baccalaureate (scientific, literature, etc.) or any other equivalent diploma; BAC and more appreciated
Training in the fields of social sciences, health, [
economic agronomy, geography, or teaching would be an asset;
Experience in conducting household surveys;
Experience in collecting mobile data Via kobo collect and 00K • O Having worked in the humanitarian sector would be an asset
Essential skills and experience
Fluency in French and knowledge of the languages of the Far North region
• For Diamaré Fufuldé, Guizigua
• For the Mayo-kani: Moundang, Massa
• for Mayo-Tsanaga Ma
• For Mayo-sava M nouri, Arab Choa and Fufulde
• for Mayo- Mousgoum
Good knowledge of the departments of Diamaré (Gazawa, Ndoukoula and Maroua 3rd), Mayor- rhé), Mayo- Kani (Moutourwa), Mayo-Danay (Kal Kai and Vele), and Ma T aga (Roua):
relational and communicational; friendly, rigorous and respectful of established rules; Open-mindedness, good organization and creativity:
Good mastery of information gathering techniques;
Flexibility, strong ability to work in a team and under pressure;
Ability to work in a very hazy environment that is often unstable in terms of security and difficult to access;
Have a good command of the computer tool; Specific knowledge:
knowledge of the Red Cross / Red Crescent Movement is a real advantage; Experience in conducting surveys:
Mastery of the context of the Far North of Cameroon, Holder of a motorcycle license appreciated.
The CRC/CRF recruitment procedure includes 3 stages
1, A pre-selection on the basis of the file submitted (Only candidates whose skills and experience correspond to the profile described in the offer are selected for the written test)
2. a test technique with the use of tablets;
3. an oral interview;
