Marcsons Hotel. a premier hospitality destination in Limbe, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance department. This role requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and commitment to financial best practices in the hospitality industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and reports.

- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, booking, and bank reconciliations. Prepare tax retunts and deciarations.
- Monitor budgets, expenditures, cash flows.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
- Coordinate and work with the internal controller during audits.
- Maintain inventory and aset registers
- Process payroll with the HR and staff benefits in a timely and accurate manner.
- Generate monthi)). quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Support procurement and expense tracking for all hotel departments.
- Recommends cost-saving strategies. and contribute to financial planning
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and hospitality financial operations. •Proficiency in accounting software (eg,
- QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of confidentiality integrity.
- Strong communication skills (wiltten verbal)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of prefessional accounting hospitality experience. industry preferred),
- Professional certification (eg, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.
