Comprised of a group of Cameroonian shareholders, Africa Global Logistics, CMA CGM, and CHEC, the Kribi Conteneurs Terminal consortium is the concessionaire for the container terminal at the Kribi deepwater port.
KCT provides Cameroon’s logistics chain with modern infrastructure, adapted to the new generation of transoceanic vessels, including 350-meter quays that can accommodate vessels with a capacity of up to 11,000 TEUs. The infrastructure and equipment comply with the highest international standards.
A true gateway to Cameroon and its hinterland countries, such as Chad and the Central African Republic, this new terminal is expected to facilitate the growth of regional trade and accelerate the country’s economic growth. Kribi Conteneurs Terminal also aims to position itself as a transshipment hub.

Mission Description
– Carry out plumbing maintenance, repairs and installations according to current standards;
– Identify problems and establish appropriate solutions;
– Bring sanitary installations and equipment into compliance;
– Ensure that installations and equipment comply with safety and construction codes;
– Interpret plans and diagrams to determine material and equipment requirements;
– Ensure the maintenance and repair of plumbing tools and equipment;
– Update records and reports of work carried out;
– Carry out repairs to AEP-EU installations (drinking water supply and wastewater);
– Carry out pressure tests and ensure waterproofing work as well as tasks related to minor maintenance (replacing a light bulb, replacing a lock, replacing a bent grille, etc.);
– Carry out all plumbing work;
– Contribute to the quality of service expected by internal customers by ensuring the presentation of the equipment;
– Ensure the proper use of the logistical and material resources made available;
– Regularly inform your hierarchy of difficulties encountered in your work;
– Ensure compliance with the rules of discipline, hygiene and safety in force in the company;
– Report to your hierarchy;
– Communicate in such a way as to guarantee the proper flow of information with your hierarchy;
– Ensure compliance with safety instructions on all KCT sites;
– Respect and enforce the internal regulations, work procedures and HSE instructions in force;
– Ensure the good condition, proper use and maintenance of the equipment for which you are responsible;
– Ensure the supervision of maintenance and repair work in KCT premises;
– Accept the work once completed;
– Ensure compliance of the work with the specifications/contract and other commitments entered into;
– Monitor available stocks (office furniture, accessories, spare parts, etc.);
– Ensure the water supply in all the company’s sites;
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and the optimization of costs for various works;
– Report any incidents that may occur during the execution of the work;
– Prepare monthly reports of the work, specifying their nature, deadlines, and any delays,proposals for improvement… and submit them to management;
– Evaluate service providers after each project using an evaluation grid set up by management;
– Be a driving force for proposals for improving services
– Ensure compliance with KCT QHSE standards both at the terminal and at other sites managed by KCT;
– Ensure compliance by service providers with the KCT ethical charter;
– Ensure the good quality of materials used in the work.

Profile
– Minimum BAC in plumbing or any other equivalent diploma;
– Be able to read and write French fluently;
– Have a cumulative experience of 5 years including 2 in a similar position, particularly in monitoring maintenance and civil engineering work;
– Have experience in leak detection and diagnosis of plumbing problems
– Good command of loading and unloading operations
– In-depth knowledge of different piping systems, sanitary and thermal equipment.
– Excellent skills in plumbing, masonry, electricity & air conditioning
– Mastery of first intervention work
– Ability to repair and maintain all types of residential and commercial plumbing and heating systems.
– Good understanding of building codes, regulations and safety requirements.
– Know how to draw up a material order;
– Have a sense of customer service & Know how to be accountable
– Have a sense of aesthetics
