Logistics and Distribution Planner – FRPSL
The REGIONAL FUND FOR THE PROMOTION OF COASTAL HEALTH (RFPSL) is recruiting a Logistics and Distribution Planner
OBJECTIVE
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Logistics and Distribution Planner will coordinate the development of distribution plans, the development of distribution network optimization plans, including delivery routes and schedules.
Tasks
- Coordinate the development of distribution plans and monitor the level of execution in collaboration with the M&E specialist
- Share distribution information with health facilities
- Coordinate vehicle loading
- Track delivery vehicle inspection
- Ensure the availability of insurance for both products and vehicles
- Prepare a survey form with health facilities to identify issues related to inventory management, disseminate forms to health facilities, collect and analyze survey results.
- Monitoring and updating of the transmission of physical and electronic purchase orders in collaboration with the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
- Perform a reconciliation of physical and electronic purchase order data.
- Support the planning and conduct of meetings of the Regional Task Force for Supply and Stock Management.
- Establish an efficient and reliable system for the last-mile delivery of HIV/AIDS products in the Littoral Region.
- Ensure the transport of products from the FRPSL warehouse to the Health Facilities according to the distribution plan or schedule.
- Ensure that HIV/AIDS products are stored according to good storage practices at the FRPSL and FOSA level
- Collaborate with CENAME and CNLS to monitor the actual delivery of products to the RFPSL by the central level. Advocate if necessary in case of delay that could impact the implementation of the project.
- Track receipt of products at the SLRF level
- Coordinate the maintenance of regular inventories and reconciliations of theoretical and physical stocks at the level of Health Facilities and the FRPSL.
- Collaborate with the SAP FP, RWG for invoice submission and all Global Fund and USAID commodity management documentation
- Track delivery vehicles and ensure that this information is accessible by other stakeholders.
- Coordinate the follow-up of losses, the removal of expired/damaged health facilities and the FRPSL and their destruction in accordance with the regulations in force.
- Ensure the updating and maintenance of SOPs in inventory management in accordance with international standards Supervise the activity of drivers

PROFILE
- Hold a pharmacy/Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, supply chain, logistics, public health or a related field
- Have at least 3 years of professional experience in planning, distribution, supply chain logistics Have specific experience in public health
- Be able to communicate effectively in English and French.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proven experience in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
