Purpose of the position: Guarantee the proper functioning of the vehicle fleet and the security of the Base as well as the supervision of the logistics teams according to the internal organization chart. Diploma / Level of studies: – Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics, refrigeration and air conditioning or equivalent training. – At least 1 year of professional experience required in the same position.

Main tasks: Mission 1: Ensure the maintenance and rehabilitation of ACF buildings – Supervise the renovation and maintenance of buildings necessary for the operation of the base (offices, home, store, etc.); – Manage general maintenance and general services of offices, stores and guest houses: lighting, cleaning, electrical system, air conditioning, plumbing, hygiene, drinking water supply, carpentry, welding, etc.; – Supervise construction sites and control the quality of service provider interventions; – Ensure the fitting out and removal of offices and residential homes. 2 Mission 2: Ensure radio communication – Ensure stand-by and radio contacts; – Respect the defined communication codes;- Acting as evening radio contact in the absence of the General Resources Officer;
– Maintaining the radio log book (locations, dates and times of all movements); – Transmitting messages between bases or with vehicles; – Monitoring the movements of vehicles that have left and maintaining radio contact; – Communicating messages to their recipients; – Relaying with a base or vehicle when frequencies are low; – Responsible for alerting on compliance with the procedures defined for movements and communication Mission 3: Participating in fleet management (vehicles and generators) and equipment – Planning vehicle movements within the base on a weekly basis and movements to the bases as needed; – Creating LAs in LINK for the needs of the base; – Centralizing and monitoring vehicle maintenance needs and processing them with the supplier; – Centralizing feedback from drivers regarding maintenance carried out by the car rental company; – Collect all fuel data in the fuel sheet and cross-check with the fuel tickets for the base (invoices); – Track driver absences; – Record and label all Action Against Hunger equipment before deployment. Mission 4: Miscellaneous tasks – Assist in small loading or unloading of vehicles; – Start/stop the generator and track on the appropriate documents; – Assist other employees if necessary; – Contribute to waste treatment (incineration, etc.).
