General information
Made up of a group of Cameroonian shareholders, Africa Global Logistics, CMA CGM and CHEC, the Kribi Conteneurs Terminal consortium is the concessionaire of the container terminal of the deep-water port of Kribi.
KCT offers the Cameroonian logistics chain a modern infrastructure, adapted to the new generation of transoceanic vessels, including 350-meter quays that can accommodate vessels with a capacity of up to 11,000 TEUs. The infrastructure and equipment comply with the highest international standards.
A true gateway to Cameroon and its hinterland countries, such as Chad and the Central African Republic, this new terminal is expected to facilitate the growth of regional trade and accelerate the country’s economic growth. Kribi Conteneurs Terminal also wishes to position itself as a transhipment hub.

Mission Description
• Operate the machine until the end of the shift or as instructed by the Yard/Terminal Supervisor;
• Ensure that the equipment is always in good condition for operations and report any defects immediately to the Yard Supervisor;
• Follow the instructions for movement and work in the yard;
• Ensure that priority is given to internal trucks over external trucks;
• Carry out container movements as instructed by the Traffic Manager;
• Carry out the tasks received on VH10 in the assigned work order;
• Wait for his/her relief and hand over all necessary information regarding the condition of the equipment and unfinished work to the operator of the next shift;
• Follow the concept of corrective maintenance reporting any minor defects even if they do not impact the operation of the equipment;
• Undertake tasks as a multi-skilled operator as indicated during non-driving periods;
• Have a good understanding of sorting schemes and standard processes for handling IMO class containers and exceptions;
• Ensure compliance with HSE policy, adherence to safety standards and safe working practices
• Report accidents and malfunctions in accordance with defined safety procedures.
Profile
• Hold a category G driving license;
• Cumulative experience of 3 years in driving semi-trailer trucks or other similar equipment;
• Excellent organizational and planning skills;
• Language skills: Be able to read and write French fluently
• Required qualities: Ability to communicate effectively – Demonstrate good integrity – rigor and organization – work under pressure – sense of reporting – autonomy and punctuality – sense of customer service.

• Good mastery of loading and unloading operations;
• Good mastery of warehousing operations.
