Management Controller – Cameroonian Farm Company (CFC)

Compagnie Fermière Camerounaise (CFC) is a subsidiary of the Somdia group located in
Cameroon.

The CFC, created in 2017, aims to create an integrated complex around the valorization of corn.
To this end, the CFC is setting up 4 units in the Central region:
– A corn mill for the processing of corn into grits for breweries, into flour
for human consumption and into co-products for animal nutrition;

– A production unit for concentrated feed and complete feed;
– A parent farm for the production of hatching eggs;
– A hatchery for the production of day-old chicks.

He reports hierarchically to the Administrative and Financial Director of the CFC.

– The DACG of the Somdia headquarters
LOCATION
– The Management Controller carries out his activities in Mbankomo, in the CFC offices.
ACTIVITY AND ACHIEVEMENT CRITERIA
Guarantor of the visibility of the profitability and optimization of the costs of the CFC, the
Management Controller’s main missions are:

 Development, implementation and improvement of management and monitoring tools;
 Implementation of analytical accounting
;  Monitoring of investments;
 Inventory control;
 Sales control;
 Support for the preparation and monitoring of plans and budgets;
Development, implementation and improvement of management and monitoring tools

Analysis and monitoring tables for inventory consumption
(raw materials, packaging, etc.);

 Review and monitoring statements for the main expense items (salaries,
telephone, fuel, missions, various supplies, etc.) according to
analytical allocations;
 Regular transmission of relevant reports on the activity;
 Implementation and monitoring of dashboards and
performance indicators;
Implementation of analytical accounting:
 Calculation and analysis of costs, margins and results according to the
relevant axes and objects;
Monitoring of investments
 Detailed review of the investment needs of each department;
 Review of the analytical and budgetary allocation of expenses and
consumption related to fixed assets;
 Monthly reporting on the budget analysis -achievements
Inventory control
 Daily reconciliation of data from Production, Store,
Sales through the files issued by these services as well as elements arising from the inventory and sales management modules;
 Verification of the accuracy of inventory cost prices;
 Organization of periodic inventories (monthly and annual);
 Analysis of counting sheets and preparation of the inventory report.
Sales control
 Verification of compliance with current rates;
 Verification of the consistency of the Weighbridge data with those of the
sales module (product, quantity, customer);

 Review of the assessment of discounts and rebates
Support for the preparation and monitoring of plans and budgets
 Participation in the development and updating of the business plan;
 Collection of needs from the various departments and accounting and
financial translation;
 Preparation of monthly budget monitoring reports and analysis of variances;
Others
 Any other tasks assigned by the hierarchy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 Training and experience
 Minimum BAC+4/5 in management control, accounting-control-audit
or equivalent;
 BTS in accounting and business management would be an asset;
 At least three (03) years of experience in a similar position
