*Maritime Brigade Manager TO WORK WITH THE DOUALA CITY COUNCIL*
Main missions ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards, plan, organize and coordinate the activities of the maritime brigade, manage resources and equipment manage the human resources of the river brigade; plan and organize patrols; manage equipment; control navigation: Verification of on-board documents, navigation conditions and compliance with regulations.
  police and rescue missions: Interventions in the event of distress at sea, control of ships to prevent pollution, fight against illicit traffic,
  coordination • in conjunction with other State services, security forces and port authorities,
     Security: implementation of measures to strengthen the security of ships and ports.
1- Required diploma
     The applicant must hold a Bac+3 level diploma in Public Law 2- Experience
     Possess specific skills in navigation, maritime safety and sea rescue
3- Requirements and skills
  Sense of organization and leadership: To ensure the proper management of operations and compliance with the rules,
     Ability to work in a team: The maritime brigade is a collective, and coordination is essential,
     Coolness and calm under pressure: Situations at sea can be unpredictable; Strength of proposal and spirit of initiative: The manager must be able to make quick decisions and anticipate problems;
  Communication and negotiation skills: To question boaters, commercial vessels and authorities, know how to swim.
4- Required age
  Be between 25 and 40 years old.

1 – Composition of the file
The file includes.
– A handwritten job application written in French or English, addressed to the Mayor of the City of Douala, stamped at the current rate (01 tax stamp and 01 municipal stamp),
– A Curriculum Vitae (CV),
– A cover letter,
– A photocopy of the birth certificate dated less than three (03) months;
– A photocopy of the reference diploma dated less than three (03) months.
Copies of supporting documents for professional experience,
A photocopy of the National Identity Card or valid passport.
2 – Deadline and place of submission
Complete files will be received every working day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from May 16 to 30, 2025 at the Urban Community Mail Service.
The Mayor of the City will communicate the final results by press and posting.
