Made up of a group of Cameroonian shareholders, Africa Global Logistics, CMA CGM and CHEC, the Kribi Conteneurs Terminal consortium is the concessionaire of the container terminal of the deep-water port of Kribi.
KCT offers the Cameroonian logistics chain a modern infrastructure, adapted to the new generation of transoceanic vessels, including 350-meter quays that can accommodate vessels with a capacity of up to 11,000 TEUs. The infrastructure and equipment comply with the highest international standards.

A true gateway to Cameroon and its hinterland countries, such as Chad and the Central African Republic, this new terminal is expected to facilitate the growth of regional trade and accelerate the country’s economic growth. Kribi Conteneurs Terminal also wishes to position itself as a transhipment hub.

Job Description

Mission Description

• Carry out cleaning and disinfection operations on the facilities;
• Carry out cleaning and disinfection operations on the facilities;
• Use complex maintenance products within the framework of strict safety procedures;
• Ensure dismantling and reassembly operations;
• Work in compliance with procedures and requirements in terms of food safety, safety of operators in production (and their own) and respect for the environment;

• Monitor the results of their work and prevent malfunctions in the premises, machines and facilities;
• Ensure the proper use of the logistical and material resources made available to repairers;
• Regularly inform their superiors of any difficulties encountered in their work;
• Ensure compliance with the rules of discipline, hygiene and safety in force in the company;
• Report any breakdowns that occur to their superiors;
• Ensure compliance with safety instructions on the TAC.

Profile

• Have a Secondary School Diploma
• Experience in the position (minimum 1 year) particularly in the maintenance of machinery or heavy goods vehicles
• Be able to read and write French fluently
• Have in-depth knowledge in the maintenance of machinery or heavy goods vehicles;
• Have an excellent foundation in automotive electronics;

• Use all tools, materials, equipment and accessories dedicated to tire repair
• Draw up a parts order.
• Know how to report
• Be able to make a diagnosis;
• Understand KCT’s policy and its values.
• Required skills: Ability to communicate effectively – Great listening, autonomy and adaptation skills – Open-mindedness and strength of proposal – Enthusiasm and dynamism – rigor and organization – work under pressure – sense of reporting – sense of customer service.
