JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The General Practitioner will be responsible for:

✔ Preventing and managing HIV/STI infections and other diseases according to national and international guidelines.
✔ Diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses among project beneficiaries and other patients.
✔ Promoting health and well-being through patient education and counseling.
✔ Performing medical consultations, health check-ups, and routine assessments.
✔ Providing medical treatment and prescribing appropriate medications.
✔ Establishing a trusting relationship with patients to encourage long-term engagement.
✔ Providing psychological and social support to patients and their families.
✔ Supervising nurses and ensuring quality healthcare services.

✔ Be registered with the National Order of Physicians of Cameroon.
✔ Strong knowledge in mental health and psychological care.
✔ Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation procedures for HIV projects.
