Massive Recruitment with Archdiocese of Garoua

As part of the commissioning of the Radio Sainte-Marie-Madeleine of the Archdiocese of Garoua, located at the Cathedral of Sainte-Thérèse de l’Enfant Jésus in Garoua, the Archbishop of Garoua launches a call for tenders for the recruitment of three complementary agents:




  • A Chief of Programme and Information Services,
  • A Head of Technical and Dissemination Service
  • A Head of Finance and Marketing.

JOB
DESCRIPTIONS 1. The Chief of Programme and Public Information Services

  • Designs, presents and produces radio programs;
  • Ensures the monitoring and programming of programs;
  • Develops the daily antenna schedule;
  • Supervises volunteers;
  • Ensures compliance with the editorial line;
  • Produces daily newspapers;
  • Produces weekly news magazines;
  • Coordinates media coverage;
  • Presides over editorial conferences in the absence of the Director.



2. The Head of Technical and Dissemination Service

  • Ensures the on-air of broadcasts;
  • Ensures the maintenance of equipment;
  • Ensures the processing of sound and the production of spots;
  • Provides live broadcasts of Masses and diocesan events;
  • Proposes new equipment;
  • Train volunteers in the field of sound processing.

3. The Head of Finance and Marketing

  • Proposes and/or implements the business model and trade policy;
  • Ensures prospecting with advertisers;
  • Ensures the programming of announcements;
  • Keeps the cash register and the accounts of the entire Maison Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, in close contact with the diocesan commissary.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be available and helpful;
  • Be just and religious;
  • Have a sense of beauty and a job well done;
  • Accept comments;
  • Be proactive and able to make proposals for the smooth running of the entire Maison Sainte-Marie-Madeleine.




IDEAL PROFILE

  • Have at least Baccalaureate level;
  • Proof of training in the field of communication;
  • Have at least one year of experience in the field.
