Our client is a leading player in Cameroon in the distribution sector.
Job brief

Reporting to the CEO, you take charge of all the operations of DIY activities on the commercial, logistical and administrative aspects.

MISSIONS

You will be responsible for the following missions:

• Highlight the store and make it a reference on the Cameroonian market,
• Control and validate the implementation of the commercial strategy,
• Monitor, analyze, manage management indicators to evaluate the results of the store and ensure reporting to the Management,
• Propose and ensure the application of action plans to optimize the turnover and margin of the store,
• Carry out sales, orders and inventory forecasts with its management team
• Ensure and control all logistics flows and guarantee the reliability of stocks through regular inventories,
• Contribute to the optimization of the store’s workforce (optimization of schedules, management of staff needs and overtime) in compliance with legal rules.
• Ensure continuous competitive intelligence to stay competitive

PROFILE

• A minimum of 7 years of successful experience in mass distribution and more precisely in the management of a large network.
• At least five years’ experience as Area Manager and/or Director, ideally in a DIY superstore and/or building materials network.
• Your ultimate goal is customer satisfaction thanks to your recognized managerial qualities, your excellent control of operations and your optimal management of logistics flows and stocks.
• A store opening experience will be an asset.
