The REGIONAL FUND FOR THE PROMOTION OF COASTAL HEALTH (RFPSL) is recruiting a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, the Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant will:
- Support the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist in identifying major challenges for project implementation and report to the project manager for immediate decision-making.
- Collect the data that will be used in the calculation of performance indicators
- Support the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist in the calculation of performance indicators and the preparation of progress reports
- Develop/implement the Monitoring and Evaluation plan of the project.
- Establish M&E methodologies, standard business processes and tools for the project in cooperation with the project team.
- Contribute to the development or revision of the project logical framework matrix, including prioritization of project objectives, indicators and monitoring mechanisms.
- Guide the process of defining performance issues and key parameters for monitoring project performance and evaluating performance against expected results.
- Synthesize project activity reports provided by project focal points and implementing organizations.
- Determine with stakeholders and relevant stakeholders the framework and procedures for evaluating project activities.
- Conduct regular follow-up visits to ensure that the project is on track by carrying out planned activities and achieving expected results.
- Ensure that monitoring data is integrated into project management decisions and used in program management.
- Participate in the development/revision of action plans and detailed project budgets.
- Ensure weekly and monthly monitoring of indicators.
- Ensure quality control of data and information collected, through the development and/or revision of data tools.
- Organize/supervise data collection, processing and analysis as part of the monitoring of project indicators.

PROFILE
- Holder of a BAC+3 in statistics, social sciences, management or other related sectors.
- Minimum two (02) years of experience in participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation of program and projects.
- Have solid experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative surveys.
- Have practical and relevant experience in emergency response. Good writing skills (report writing ability) •
- Know how to use the computer and master standard software (Word, Excel,
- PowerPoint…)
- Fluency in French and English.
- Proven experience in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
