Manager – Home Network Planning. Technology
Responsibilities
Evaluate and consolidate all HOME and EBU planning CAPEX projects and submit them to the Network Group Finance for preparation of the budget process
Participate in the selection of suppliers for the delivery of the required domestic and EBU solutions
Plan and manage the national and EBU budgets
Provide guidelines/directions for the design of optimized home and EBU network nodes and elements
Monitor the execution of the Home and EBU project with the team to ensure that the capitalization of the project is progressing as planned
Assign a technical lead for home network and EBU projects
Assign the appropriate resource from the Home team and EBU for any issues raised or requests from internal customers requiring the involvement of the Home team and EBU
Follow up with suppliers on any deficiencies raised during the execution of the Home and EBU project
Prepare scope and exchange plans for planned activities
Monitoring to ensure ongoing compliance with the recommendations of the business continuity process and the disaster recovery plan
Explore vendor roadmaps of enhanced products and features as proactive preparation for design architecture reviews
Provide support for any regulatory requirements or unforeseen revenue-increasing initiatives of the company
Prepare the Home and EBU unit PDP and share it with the Human Resources team
Elaborate planning team of the domestic network and the EBU IPF
Performance Evaluation of Home Network Planning Team Members and EBU
Approved amendment relating to the home network and the EBU network
Ensure the provision of all necessary documents for Home and EBU related projects to the CPG for the project planning process (CPB, WBS, etc.)
Coordinate the development of domestic network planning and the UER INP
Coordinate the development of SLAs with internal customers
Provide monthly financial, PDP and project reports to management
Define job profiles and job descriptions for members of the Home Network Planning Team and the EBU
Carry out the necessary actions for the recruitment of staff within the domestic network planning unit and the EBU
Ensure the provision of a monthly report on the unit’s key performance indicators
Provide management with quarterly key achievements and the unit’s quarterly plan
Validation of the process and procedure governing the activities of the domestic network and the EBU network
Validation of Home Network and EBU Policies
Participate in training reserved or recommended by HR
Qualifications
Education:
B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications.
A master’s degree is an asset.
